Self Indulgent

Yes, this is going to be one of those self-indulgent posts that I enjoyed writing and nobody will enjoy reading. Actually, I think my entire blog is this way. If people read it, they do. If not, at least I get to speak my mind.

At work today I listened to Marianas Trench (a band) that had a new CD come out a few months ago. So, that means I am still listening to that and only that.

The lyrics are amazing in this song. The one phrase that really gets me is:
"You tell me to fight for you but after this long I shouldn't have to."

Amazing. Nothing relates those emotions better than said in this song.

N*Sync

Dear N*Sync,

"Right" does not rhyme with "right." It is the SAME word. Nice try.

Sincerely,
Eryn

Needs to be said

What is twirling around in this little brain of mind that I need to let out? Here goes:

  1. I saw a guy smoking two cigarettes on his bike when I was on my way to work today. I guess it had been a rough day for him.
  2. I HATE not having my computer. I don't trust Geek Squad land much.
  3. We had free snow cones at work today and I had one which gave me a stomachache. I can't remember the last time something too sugary did that to me.
  4. I am in love with this song right now: http://youtu.be/0_mFgxjZW2A
  5. Someone called me skinny today. That made my day.
  6. The doctor's office was a horrific experience that wasted two hours of my life. That ruined my day.
  7. Too many people my age are getting married. It scares me. 50% of those will end in divorces, according to statistics. (From divorcerate.org )
  8. When you have too much sugar, do NOT wash it down with a diet soda and more sugar. Adverse effects occur.

26 Days Away

26. The number of days until classes begin.
26. Also the number of days until the concert of my life.
3 of my favorite bands are playing at Val Air Ballroom in
1 show. The concert costs
23 dollars pre-ordered, but that is more expensive than the
25 dollars I will pay at the door because I won't pay internet fees.

2 years ago, Kaila and I saw All Time Low at Warped '09.
2 years ago, we also saw The Cab in Columbia at the Blue Note. For the
1st time, we will see Mayday Parade live. I am stoked.

26 more days. I shall just listen to the
3 separate YouTube playlists I have dedicated to the artists until then.
