We went bowling. I got a 151 and then a 136. Not awesome by any means. Hey, it was one of my least favorite bowling alleys when I was younger and I can see why after the experience today. Needless to say, he bowled horrifically so I didn't feel too bad about not taking the games seriously today. With just three of us bowling, it took over two hours for two games of bowling. We did a lot of talking in between games.
The best part of all that was how mature he has become. I didn't get the chance to notice this last April with SIFE because of the short encounter, but it was apparent today. After telling my mom this, she reminded me how it takes guys so much longer to mature than it does girls. I usually forget about that because I am in my own bubble. I think this age is just about when boys become men in (most of) their actions. Some things like farts will always be funny to them. Now that is something I do not understand at all.
Other than that, my big adventure for the day was going to Walmart. That is right, you be jealous. Small town Walmart is nothing exciting to most people, and I would have to agree. However, this break has been so dull that even a trip to the local market one mile away from home means a great deal to me.
Here's to another eventful day tomorrow!
