Appreciate what you have

What a cute layout she has on her blog!

I take so much of my life for granted. I read a wonderful blog post today while I was perusing BHG's Facebook page and I really liked what I read. This woman was so happy to visit the corporate headquarters of BHG (a place I visit almost everyday), that she took photos and got excited about looking around the test garden and test kitchen.

I think I need to appreciate what I have in life. From an outsider's perspective, it sounds awesome to work for the #1 distributed magazine in the United States. I should be excited about that kind of feat, yet I act like it is no big deal.

"All Drake journalism students intern here at some point," I think to myself. Well, that may be the case, but from a person not attending Drake, I have a pretty cool gig.

I have to agree.
