I am beginning to check the quality of my Geek Squad service. Actually, I began this questioning a few months ago, but this is just confirming it.
As you can tell from the picture, from the time someone began working on my computer to the time when said person ordered parts was only two hours. Given past examples of my Geek Squad service, this is moving at lightning pace.
When I checked this computer into Geek Squad at first, I was shocked that the guy there said he had never seen anything like it before.
We all know that means the "technician" working on my computer had to feel the same way.
I had this same computer serviced TWICE already for the same issue. Geek Squad has:
- Replaced the LCD cable going from the computer to the monitor
- Replaced that LCD cable again and also replaced the motherboard while they were at it
I am going to laugh if my LCD cable is replaced and they think that will fix my problem. Just because I am a girl, it does not mean I am computer dumb. I do know when I get my computer back if it is "fixed" or if it is actually fixed. So far, I have only received my computer in "fixed" status from GS.
