I shouldn't complain that I am being challenged; high school was a joke in that regard. Sure, there were the odd classes that I had to work at, but nothing like I have had to in college. This is the reason I chose such a great school in the first place. I am glad to know that this is actually pushing me beyond what I have ever been pushed before.
Along with these challenges, I have not had the best of luck with other aspects of life. I had a fire this summer, my computer crashed and I have had issues with my weight. That is enough to make anyone stress out. Money is something I always knew I would have to worry about, but never to this extent.
What have I learned from this? God blesses you in the most amazing ways.
1. I realized that Business Law, although enjoyable, is not the track for me to go down, forcing me to finally add that Writing minor.
2. I am humbled by knowing that I am not as proficient at writing, spelling, and grammar as I thought I was.
3. I know how to persevere through stress, lack of sleep, distress, criticism, and anything else that might try to bring me down.
4. I wouldn't give up my experience at Drake for the world. THE WORLD.
Maybe God has placed this into my life for good reasons. Even in the toughest of times I get through and come out stronger than before. I would say that makes me a pretty lucky person.
