Learning Something New Everyday

Today on my morning run, a woman in a yellow car stopped me and asked if I had seen her westie.

"Have you seen a westie?" she asked.
"Uhhh....What is a westie?" I said.
"It is a small dog. He is white. Have you seen the Cesar dog food commercials?" She asked.
"Yeah I have!" I said.
"That is the dog," she said.
"Ohhhh...I haven't seen him. I am sorry," I said.


Then she drove away. Wow, I can't believe how little I know about dog types. It took her explaining a commercial to me for me to have any clue what a westie looked like. I came back from the run and I had to Google "westie" just to make sure she and I were on the same page. I bet that woman thought "what a stupid girl." Oh well. You learn something new everyday.
