I just read an article from USA Today College that I felt I would like to share. "Wedding etiquette for the young adult" is an article teaching college students how to navigate a wedding. I felt this helpful in planning a wedding. One point that really stuck out to me was:
"If there is no form of a bar, do not sneak alcohol into the reception.
It is selfish and inconsiderate to sneak alcohol into a place where it
is not wanted. Be respectful of the wedding party. They didn’t provide
alcohol for a reason. Think about it. And honestly, who wants to be the
sloppy drunk when everyone else is Sober Sally. It is not becoming of
you."
I have to agree. I don't plan to have alcohol at my wedding, and I find it to be selfish and inconsiderate to sneak it in. I don't know this writer, but I already like her.
